I recently discovered this thread, and it caught my attention because days ago I was looking for a way to automate an idea that occurred to me while talking to someone. I soon discovered that in my country I was not going to have traction. However it exposed me to the world of automation in a different way. I discovered UiPath and Automation Anywhere (Yes, it is RPA) as a model to follow but in some more specific niche.
My idea was to go beyond RPA.
I have tested Automation Anywhere in its community version with the intention of adding AI, and developing something better. I didn't go very far. The community version gives me problems. Perhaps it is an Internet problem, or it is simply a version that is not well supported because it is free.
Does anyone here use these platforms?
Do you think it is worth taking advantage of the code that they already have developed? Or...
Is it worth building from scratch?
I have some coding skills (which should be polished a bit more), but I wouldn't depend on anyone.
What I do have clear is that not everything is automatable. In some cases, data processing may require more human intervention than you think, and that more use of AI is needed.
