I find the tests very stupid to believe in them. It's like believing in zodiac signs.
Some people will present arguments that they are not the same thing, but for me they are the same shit.

Quite the contrary zodiac signs can be very useful considering how little information you need other than the birthday.

If I need to have a rough guess on someone that I don’t really know very well, horoscope can at least tell me something perhaps, on a probabilistic level.

I cannot ask him or her to do a personality test.

The best way to know someone is to know them for 2-3 years. Horoscope probably cut short the process by three months.

I took this MBTI test three times past three months - and each time different, first it was ENTP type, then after socialising, valuing my feelings and being more human loving it turned into ENFP with high extraversion and super prospecting nature, read couple of books, got super confident and HEALED my trauma a lot and boom - it is ENTJ personality type - we can't be fit into "types", come on, this is a real evidence right in front of your eyes - each time different "you" comes out with each situation - there's a choice, either you choose your identity and who you will end up being or some stupid test or a funny friend with sarcastic jokes will do it for you.

I hope your choice will be wise one.

The fact you got EN all three times means there is some consistency in its results. What were your percentages for T and J?

I took the test 7 years apart and all my results came towards the middle like @Kak. I’m basically 51-49 on all of them now. Went from ISTJ (70-30) to ENTP but barely (51-49).

I don't believe in personality tests or horoscopes, but I had 10min to burn, so I figured why not. Took the OCEAN thing.

• Openness = 56.06%
• Conscientiousness = 58.22%
• Extraversion = 13.46%
• Agreeableness = 34.18%
• Neuroticism = 40.80%

According to the internet, I'm a drug-addicted hermit psycho who "is willing to manipulate people to get what they want." I can agree with the numbers, mostly, but the meaning behind them is a bit much, imo. I'm definitely a hermit, though!

Very different, extremely, even the EN consistency were different, first time it was balanced, but PROSPECTING was like 100% and THINKING was 70%, then it became FEELING 70% and EXTRAVERSION 98% which is exteme, then it became EXTRAVERSION 60% and THINKING 52% and JUDGING 70%, what the hell?
INTUITION never changed though, but yeah, f*ck plans

It is simply this extreme socialization, trauma work, emotional sovereignty
I don't believe in this now, it changes all the time, maybe with your friends you're EXTRAVERSION 100% after a shot of whiskey, then when party ends it is INTROVERSION 80% and etcetera, it is these factors thst change all the time, because life is VERY flexible, changing and etcetera.
Fixed mindset - you know what, f*ck that!

I don’t place too much emphasis on any single variable.

But you have to make split judgement on people if you have to engage with them, build relationship or maybe pitch something. You are talking to people and meanwhile guessing who they are and what they like.

You are trying to figure out what they like or what might piss them off (things that you try to avoid).

If you don’t know them well enough you have to work on very limited information.

I think that we have a personality, but it is very broad.
And insecure person is confident in certain situations and shy in others.

Out personality is the average of the person we are.
And people like to say "Oh I'm shy and I'm not confident" as an excuse to not do things that challenge them.
I think that by visualizing ourself as confident we naturally feel more confident.
Affirmations do work. Not as well as hard evidence, but better than nothing.
