He's making $150K / month because he has an audience, several thousand customers, blurb on Hacker News and bunch of other stuff that's invisible from the outside. That's what I meant about trying to copy someone's success by copying their landing page. You're only seeing and cloning one small part of the system.
I was thinking about what you said regarding the objections: "I already have something that works ok"/"switching would cost me a lot of time". Given the LP I shared 10 posts back, where on that LP, would you place those objection handles? I was thinking about placing them in the FAQ, at the bottom of the page, but that might be too late.
I know, I know: "who cares, just test it". But what would be your first attempt, before you start doing A/B testing?
I see your point, but with digital products, there's no way to truly 'return' them. Anyone asking for a refund would keep the product and get their money back. I'm fine with handling legitimate cases, but I wouldn't issue refunds casually. Plus, the creator of the other tool I shared tested this—no refund policy led to more sales. So, I don't see a reason for a lenient refund policy.Think hard about offering a RIDICULOUS guarantee and refund policy. Especially at that price point which is pretty steep for this audience. It's minimal cost for you and translates to a huge trust factor. Set the expectation that everything is so f**king awesome that you'd be crazy to ask for a refund, but you're happy to refund anyone who asks.
A better idea is figuring out why anyone in the world would possibly want to return it. Then solve that problem.
