Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?

It's the same one as last week:

The ONE Thing I'd be delighted to have done this week would be to separate my script so there's code that runs client side to call the server side code that does the actual work. Then I can go manually sell it to people for $10/mth.

I'm doing client work and still figuring out LinkedIn.

Create better products for my store that have value skews over my competition

I’ve been gone for a 2-week cruise vacation in Europe. I got the flu while on my trip, and it’s morphed into pneumonia -- so I’m home and still down. The doctor says I should be better this week. While I was gone, the work continued.

My rentals:

My guys finished rehabbing the rental we were working on. My assistant moved the new tenants into it. I had moved 2 different tenants into the other vacancies before I left. So we’re 100% rented up.

We’re starting to get ready for winter. We need projects lined up and ready to work on during the cold months. All rental units must be inspected on the exterior for any repairs that must be made before our snow hits.

We’ll be closing the RV spaces on October 15th for the season. The water supply must be turned off at each site and the utility stands must be covered for the winter.

This week, I’ll be working on catching up the stacks of paperwork from the time I’ve been gone.

My off-site rehab project:

We’re working on the third bathroom. All the other rooms on the interior have the drywall finished, texturized, and painted.

We’re hanging the shower doors on the two upstairs bathrooms. The flooring is down in both of those bathrooms and we’re ready to set the fixtures.

The window frames are on the exterior of the windows along with the trim boards. It’s looking better and better all the time.

My challenge this week is to find vanities and countertops for the three bathrooms. I may have to take a trip to Anchorage to acquire them.

And I must start planning how we’re going to build out the master closet and the cabinets in the laundry room.

I hope we can start assembling the kitchen cabinets and hanging the upper ones on the walls.

All my plans for this week are dependent on me getting better. Having pneumonia is sure not fun.
