Wholesale Million dollar properties?

As some of you know I have been getting the wheels turning on starting a wholesaling business here in Virginia.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with wholesaling million dollar properties. I see most everyone who wholesales focusing on the smaller obviously more common homes.

At the risk of sounding dumb: why couldn't a wholesaler focus on putting multimillion dollar properties under contract and assigning them to retail buyers. Obviously this is more difficult but could be very lucrative.

Anyone care to shed some light on why this doesnt seem to be happening anywhere?
