i haven't changed my profile pic from around three years, and i hardly go on facebook anyway, but at the end of the day though we are moving into the machine age with drones and stuff like so we are likely to lose our human interaction and stuff like that but it's all apart of evolution from my standpoint.we are slowly turning into robots scientist predict that in the next 100 years billionaires can live forever, due to the advanced technology they can afford to buy, but i kinda agree with you though because we are slowly losing our human interaction and our connection with our mind, body and soul which is a bad thing.Social media is just people trying to impress others, but they don't want to admit it.
If I ask anyone on there, why do they tweet, post pictures, videos, etc. They would say some bs like " I do it for myself."
Then I tell them ask them why don't they just have a private account only for them. & Oh boy, Once I say that, the bull shit responses comes in.
Social Media has it pros and all, but I believe people use it to show off instead of "connecting."
I agree, I hate going to concerts where everyone is recording, texting and updating ... Watch the bloody show! I'd love to have a cell phone jammer and see folks faces when their phones not connecting to the webWhy experience something live and in 3D? When you can replay it flattened and in 2D?
We're becoming slaves to our smartphones, prostituting our lives for likes, comments, and social media shares.
The image saddens me

Most people don't even want to impress people, they really do it for themselves.Social media is just people trying to impress others, but they don't want to admit it.

Facebook is 50% of my consulting business income... I can't stand it but for my niche I dont have a choice but to play a part in it all
Most of my internet time from my smartphone is spent reading here actually changed my default home page to this forum just so I can get to it faster when I'm stuck somewhere with only my phone.aside from video games and movies i just cannot understand how people voluntarily spend so much time on their smartphone or any other screen for that matter...
