10k a Day Crew

I needed to change or I would have self-destructed.

I decided to move away from entrepreneurship towards investing in business that were run by people who actually like to work! That was the best solution for me. It is not for everybody but that's how it is for my personality. I targeted businesses where the owner held huge stakes in the business and I threw my small investment to tag along for the ride. I didn't have to do any work and if the business produced a 20% return on equity, I would share in that too.

Do I make less? Sure. I may only have single digit millions as opposed to double digit millions, but the pay off is worth it (for me), but it suits my personality better. For others, it would be horrible - too slow. And that's fair.

I think it is critically important to find a passion that suits the individual's personality. If a person tries to do something that they are not suited to do, they may have to face consequences that they may not be willing to deal with.

I'm the opposite I guess. I don't know what to do with myself if I am not working on some project, job etc.

But I have gotten to a point that I cannot juggle it all anymore and need to cut back. I just cut off working for one client I have done work for the last 3 years. Literally finishing the last project for him tomorrow. I just told him I have to much going on and this is the one project that financially doesn't make sense anymore. Paid me 2k a month and really didn't take that long to do but having his projects hanging over my head week after week was wearing on me. Started to lose sleep to keep up with the work.

Saying goodbye to 2k a month sure sucks but that 2k just cost me to much time and mostly wore on me knowing I had these deadlines week after week.


I still do my regular 9 to 5 and have a terrific boss. This gives me a base of operations outside my home to work from. I have my own packing station, they let me come and go when I want and they just built me a really nice office.

Anyways just sorta rambling and getting off topic especially since I am far from being a 10k a day guy,haha.
