I agree big time with the idea of 'impacting millions in order to make millions' and having a selfless approach towards starting a business but my question is, how do you get started on identifying needs. If the vision is to provide value and not focus on 'what you already know' or think 'you love to do', how does one get started on identifying consumer needs?
There are tons of industries each branching into tons of niches. If I have this aim to identify a huge problem that millions of people are facing, what process do I follow which at least to some extent validates that my research is based on reality and not my fogged perception. What is an efficient way to identify problems effectively?
If someone can shed light on this topic, I would highly appreciate it.
