Review for copywriting contract - Aimee

I saw @SinisterLex's marketplace thread a while back looking for a paid mentee. He chose a great candidate @Aimee. My app is getting close to the time to launch, so we needed some copywriting help for our Indiegogo campaign. I do not have a lot of copywriting experience, so I didn't want to learn during our launch. I figured I can't afford Lex's work, but who better than his mentee?

I contacted both Lex and Aimee about the contract and we started copywriting two weeks ago. I asked for her to draft our Indiegogo campaign as well as a script to be used in an explainer video for the campaign.

Throughout the process, @Aimee was extremely professional, courteous and respectful of my time. She made every effort to understand the project as well as our specific needs for our campaign. She asked questions I had not even thought of, such as: What tone of voice we wanted, if there were any specific campaigns we wanted to emulate. She also made several suggestions to help shape what I believe will be a great campaign.

Throughout the process I never felt like I was being the "annoying client" by asking for revisions or disagreeing with certain passages. This was my first experience working with a copywriter, so it was very interesting to watch the process. Each revision saw my project take shape.

I would highly recommend @Aimee's services to anyone on the forum looking for copywriting for their projects. Her rates were very reasonable and her work was exceptional. Thanks for designing our campaign Aimee! Looking forward to working together in the future.

We will not be launching for at least another month, so this review does not take into account the actual sales and effectiveness of the ad. I will update the thread once the campaign goes live.
