Hi guys, it's me again.
I want to thank all of you who took your time and answered to my previous rant, it really help me clear my vision and get on my way (referring specifically to the guy who sent python.org and django), but many things happened and I think I can finally focus and see a way to do things, so let's talk about it..
Long-story short: I made 3k 10 days after that rant but most importantly, I think I chose my next path in life which led to more questions and more problems, at least it lead to more focus and less stress also
Ok let me explain this
I knew how to made websites using elementor and wordpress, I also knew enough SEO to write decent blog posts for each of these websites, and since someone replied talking about a young boy who did basically that I gave it a shot and started to reach out to a lot of people. Obviously I got rejected a lot, I think it was 38 people that said me NO before one YES. I only got three yeses, one from a long distance parent who is a personal trainer, one from my auntie who works with land regularization (actually she was the first, but I have to ask her five times before a yes, at least I knew I could do that), and the last one was from a law firm that is nearby where my auntie's office is. I didn't used internet for nothing besides building the websites this time. And so I did their websites and get 1k for each one of them and delivered to them + paid theme + 10 blog posts and paid plugins that I got for free. (won't share the websites or plugins here)
I guess enterpreneurship isn't about building something and praying but actually reaching out to people and get scared, anyways
But after that, I didn't continue with it. Sure it was a ton of money for someone like me but it made me realize something along the way... As I reached out to people and got actual clients and meet new people something just snapped, and don't ask me why or how because idk... I was always obsessed with speed, fast learning, getting rich quick and it led me to use false shortcuts at times, but now after I got paid and saw what can be done instead of just being alone and sad/revolted, I think something changed.
I needed to reflect, I was angry and lost, so I shut off all the technology and all the noise from the world just to answer simple questions: "What do I want from life?" "What kind of person do I want to be?" I wanted to start a company, but I couldn't even answer these questions.
And so I came to the conclusion that I want to get into Software Engineering/SaaS and become a sucessful startup owner someday. Honestly I don't care if I take 10 years to build the skills, and I will focus just on programming and necessary skills for this. When I decided this I actually went to see the YC Combinator classes where they talk things like "Don't start a startup in college, just learn now" and yes, I don't know enough, I am not good enough yet, but that's fine I guess. My questions for you guys are as follows, and please if you are in Saas or have any experience with software or you are an entrepreneur, any cents will be welcome.
1 - How would you begin to Learn to build great products? (any sites that can be helpful, any tips, any languages...)??
2 - What is the hardest thing at the SaaS market?
3 - If you were to start again you learning journey, would you learn in the go or take your time?
4 - What are the most common mistakes you see SaaS People Making?
5 - What would be your general advice?
Yes that's about it. If you read this to here I thank you for your attention and hope you have even more success than now. See you guys next time
