Hey,
I'm a long time reader of the forum, I started reading MJ's books probably more than 5 years ago now. For me, they were the kick in the arse I needed. Home life is good, I live in Sydney, Australia. I have a beautiful wife and two children aged 5 and 3, with another boy due in 6 weeks.
I have worked for a power company for nearly 10 years, that is coming to an end at the end of the year. I started a brick and mortar business in 2019 applying protective coatings to concrete surfaces. I dipped my toes in but ultimately never really committed and continued working for my full time employer. A good experience none the less.
So the past few years I have dedicated my spare time to study. Nothing too formal. I read and listen to a lot on marketing and business. I learnt basic HTML and CSS. I have an interest in AI, especially the use of assistants in marketing so I worked on the skills and tools needed to build and implement them.
I'm currently working on a product for the automotive industry. It's got me pretty bloody excited! I have uncovered a real need for it through a study I did on dealerships in my state. Anyway, I guess my reason for finally signing up and introducing myself is I want feedback from experienced heads. I'll start a new thread on the progress of my product!
Peace
